In my opening message of the show I talk about the “Media”. This is first (of others) where we discuss the very “industry” we’re in.  Media means conduit.  It is the means through which the message is delivered. Therefore my focus in the message this week is on the content of our media. The message itself is key. For many years we have lived by the idea that “The medium is the message” – a phrase coined by Marshall McLuhan meaning that the form of a medium embeds itself in the message, creating a symbiotic relationship by which the medium influences how the message is perceived.

The recent Presidential debates and the candidates criticisms are pointing to what many already know.  The bias (every has it), that exists should be intuitive, NOT blatant. But the debate moderators seemed a bit too obvious, at least to my eye and ears.  Our Guests today also have an agenda. Honesty, integrity, and authenticity.
